Fairy tale wedding Subotica
November in Subotica, Serbia. Nothing special about it, dull weather, cold mornings and empty streets…but this wedding stood out from all of it. This amazing couple, Marija & Robert love themed and costume parties so much that they decided to have a themed wedding. And what a theme it was… “Alice in Wonderland”. They went all out with the props and decorations and they made something really different and very special. Besides “Alice in Wonderland” theme Marija also decided to have a different kind of wedding dress, not a typical white one. Luckily her mother is a dress maker and she made her a beautiful Cinderella dress, so she can be a real princess. Robert on the other hand just had a blue shirt to match, no prince outfit for him.
The ceremony itself was held in beautiful Subotica’s town house. Town house was built in 1910. in a Hungarian Secession style or better known as Art Nouveau style and it was decorated lavishly. I don’t believe there is a better looking town hall anywhere in the world. After that beautiful ceremony we all went to Hotel Galleria for a reception party and for the guests it was the first time they saw decorations and it blew everyone away. The energy of the couple spread around the room after the first dance. Everybody got on the dance floor and the party never really stopped.
